Foundational training for encounters involving people experiencing behavioral health crises, including recognizing crisis indicators, communicating effectively, using de-escalation strategies, and determining an appropriate response. This is a foundational course, not a substitute for a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program.
Practical communication approaches for difficult encounters — reading a situation, managing conflict, and deciding under pressure.
Working with people who have limited English proficiency: communicating across language barriers, briefing and deploying interpreters, and documentation. Backed by ZETRA's nationwide network of 200+ languages, so agencies can pair this training with real interpreter capacity when they need it.

Individual: one person pays the price shown — for example, $345 for one person to complete the full ZETRA Core program.
Agency: the agency pays one flat price and trains up to 25 personnel together — for example, $6,200 for the agency to complete ZETRA Core. When 25 personnel participate, that works out to about $248 per person for the full 26-hour program.
Travel is included for on-site training in the Twin Cities metro area. For on-site training anywhere else, including greater Minnesota and other states, travel expenses (transportation, lodging, and other necessary travel costs) are not included in the listed price and are quoted separately in your written proposal. Live-online training has no travel cost.
Live-online and hybrid delivery are available; live-online pricing is confirmed in your written proposal. Individual enrollment is available through live scheduled sessions — contact us for upcoming dates.
Advanced Operations and Annual Training Renewal are quoted individually for each engagement.
